Dublin Airport Logistics Park
Project overview
IAC carried out extensive archaeological excavations within a 5.8 ha site in the western limit of the Dublin Area Logistics Park in compliance of planning conditions. The archaeological remains had been identified during pre-development investigations and it was determined that they be preserved by-record to facilitate construction of a large distribution warehouse for a major logistics operation.

Significant archaeological remains were recorded dating to the prehistoric, early medieval and medieval periods. Detailed and expert post-excavation analyses have been carried out including osteological analysis of human remains recorded from three phases of burial activity.
