Central Plaza
Project overview
IAC were appointed to carry out an archaeological impact assessment for the redevelopment of the landmark 8-storey Central Bank Plaza. The project comprises upgrades to five buildings of mixed classical and contemporary architecture to create a dynamic new destination for modern workforces, shoppers and diners. This includes a reworking of the former headquarters of the Central Bank of Ireland building constructed in the 1970s, designed in the ‘Brutalist’ style of architecture. The roof-top space of the new development will provide an unrivalled 360-degree view of the city and wider landscape
