Project overview
A range of archaeological services were provided in advance of a large pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located to the west of Waterford City. The 17.4 ha greenfield site was subject to intensive testing (4,334 sq.m trenches) to inform a pre-development risk assessment.
Multiple areas of archaeological significance were identified at this time which were resolved prior to construction following consultation with the statutory authorities.
