Community & Outreach

IAC strive to provide a service to the community through the presentation of public lectures and the organisation of on-site open days and school visits.

We have facilitated numerous exhibitions of artefacts found during large-scale excavations and we aim to disseminate information through publication and popular social media outlets. We form part of the team for the Ulster Scots Archaeological Project. This multi-disciplinary project aims to reassess the known archaeological remains of this period in order to reflect and further understand the Ulster Scots culture and history.
