Promotion of Associate Directors

In the context of IAC’s considerable growth in the last two years, the Board of Directors are happy to announce promotions within the management team. Faith Bailey, Tim Coughlan and Fintan Walsh have been appointed as Associate Directors.

Faith joined IAC in 2004 and leads the consultancy team. Her in-depth knowledge of the planning system and legislation, significant Oral Hearing experience and excellent working relationships make her one of the most experienced archaeological and cultural heritage consultants currently operating within the sector.

Tim has worked in IAC for 16 years and has particular strengths in the management, organisation, execution and delivery of large-scale excavation projects. His special area of expertise include deeply stratified urban excavations and wetland archaeology. In recent years Tim has successfully managed significant wetland excavations as part of the Bord na Móna Peatlands Project (100 sites) and at Derryville Bog for Lisheen Mine (50 sites).

Fintan has, over the last 16 years in IAC, established himself as one of the leading field archaeologists and project managers in the Country. Fintan also has significant experience in the establishment and management of major post-excavation projects such as the M3 Clonee to Kells and the N6 Kilbeggan to Athlone. He has published in numerous volumes and lectured widely on his works.

The company see these additions as considerably strengthening our management team in the long-term development of the company and the enhancement of services offered to our Clients
