Excavations undertaken by IAC Ltd in advance of the N2 Carrickmacross to Aclint Road Realignment in 2003 revealed numerous sites of prehistoric and medieval importance in the townlands of Cloghvalley Upper, Monanny and Lisanisk, Co. Monaghan. In a two part article, published in the Clogher Record, Fintan Walsh discusses these sites and places them in a regional context.

Recently published 'Settlement in Early Medieval Ireland in the light of recent archaeological excavations', edited by Christiaan Corlett and Michael Potterton, discusses some of the most interesting early medieval settlement sites to be excavated during the last decade. This book will become the 'go to' text for anyone interested in this time period and students and colleagues alike will be referencing it for years to come. Included within this volume are four articles written by directors at IAC.

The 2011 edition of Seanda was recently launched by the NRA. The interactive online magazine includes four contributions by IAC highlighting sites excavated in Counties Roscommon, Wexford and Kilkenny.
